Afternoon tea at the British Ironworks Centre

Make nature crowns for the Coronation
This special coronation weekend head to Attingham Park to create a nature crown!
Pick up your crown from Visitor Reception on arrival and then decorate the band by adding nature’s precious jewels. What will you find on your walk? A rare feather, a beautiful fallen leaf or a striking blade of grass? These are all nature’s precious jewels and worthy decorations to a royal crown! What will yours look like?

On Saturday the 6th May, head to Wellington Market Square for a big celebration! With live music, free face painting and balloon modelling, street entertainers and free coronation cupcakes, it’s sure to be a fantastic party!

Coronation Live in the park
Oswestry Town Council invites residents and visitors to enjoy a live screening of the King’s Coronation in Oswestry’s Cae Glas Park on the 6th of May.
The day promises to be a great way to enjoy a giant tea party and celebrate this historic occasion in Oswestry’s beautiful park in the centre of town.
In addition to a giant screen showing the ceremonial events, there will be children’s rides, magicians, circus performers, face-painting, Alpacas, stalls, street food and live music from Porth-y-Waen brass band and local artist Kizzy-Mae. The event is free, however there will be a small charge for the children’s rides and donations to the event can be made to local children’s hospice, Hope House.
