The Enchanted Express, Bridgnorth

Let the festive magic begin, on board The Enchanted Express, starting from Bridgnorth station.

Inspired by the classic poem Twas The Night Before Christmas, join Santa and friends for a magical journey. The experience includes a present for each child and reserved seating for the whole family.

As you settle down into your comfy seats (dressed in pyjamas, of course), listen to our enchanted Christmas tale and festive music as the train takes you through a winter wonderland. Along the journey, you’ll meet the Enchanted Express characters, with each child receiving a quality gift from Father Christmas  – don’t forget to ask him for a photo before he carries on his journey!

Available on selected dates Starting 30 November, see website for detailed information.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
