Feathers Hotel & Restaurant

The Feathers Hotel is a stunning facility, packed with history, charm and culture and can be found nestled away in the picturesque market town of Ludlow.

Originally built in 1619, our Grade I listed, half-timbered hotel has recently undergone a huge £2.7m makeover but has, without doubt, retained all of its personality and iconic features.   This was at the heart of the sensitive refurbishment to this magnificent building.

Ideal for both business and pleasure, the hotel sits proud on the Bull Ring, just a short distance away from Ludlow racecourse, Ludlow Castle and the traditional market.

Our hotel has 42 en-suite bedrooms, a bustling lounge and cocktail bar, Plume@Feathers restaurant with sumptuous surroundings, an elegant tea room, as well as numerous rooms suitable for meetings, conferences and private functions.  Our dog-friendly rooms ensure that your pooches may remain as your trusted companions during your stay.

With parking on site for up to 27 cars, costing as little as £7.50 per night parking, as well as complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, spa-inspired rain showers in all bedrooms as standard, along with luxurious Sleepezee beds, we pride ourselves on being one of Shropshire’s most unique and elegant hotels, that is the first choice for guests visiting the area.

We look forward to welcoming you

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
