Alongside your stay and breakfast, each tailor-made walking tour includes walking routes guided by the knowledgeable Paul Westall; a local hiking expert with a passion for Shropshire’s hidden gems and more than 28 years’ experience.

With each step you’ll traverse ancient trails, discover historic landmarks, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that defines Shropshire.

Each of our Shropshire walking holidays is created just for you, whether you’re a single traveller, couple or group of up to eight.

That way we can ensure you get the best availability for your Shropshire walking holiday, with walks tailored to your experience and what you want to see.

Every quote is bespoke, but all include:

· Overnight accommodation in one of our cosy rooms

· A full breakfast every morning of your stay

· Full or half day guided walking with Paul

· Access to our secure storage room for your boots and kit

About Your Walking Guide

Our guided walks are organised by Shropshire walking expert Paul Westall. Having led expeditions in the UK, Chile and Africa and climbed extensively across Britain, the Alps, Himalayas and Canada, Paul has a wealth of knowledge to ensure you get the most out of your visit to experience Shropshire’s best walking trails.

A British Mountaineering Council (BMC) and also Mountain Training Association (MTA) member, Paul has a number of qualifications under his belt, including an Outdoor First Aid certificate so you feel looked after during your walks.

As a qualified Mountain Leader for nearly 30 years, and more recently as an instructor for the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS), you’ll be in good hands having Paul lead you across Shropshire’s stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and beyond.

When you book a walking stay with Mynd House, the cost will include guided walking with Paul, who can be super flexible, tailoring routes to all levels and ability.
