Celebrate the festive season with a magical journey through beautiful Mid-Wales to meet the family’s favourite Christmas cheer bringer, Santa Claus!

Arrive at Llanfair Caereinion, board the heated carriages hauled by an historic steam engine to be transported through a wintery landscape. The journey lasts approximately 50 minutes, during which time you will meet Santa and his Elves on the train and receive a quality present for each child.

Adult passengers receive a mince pie and non-alcoholic hot seasonal drink to enjoy during the journey. Children receive a gingerbread train and juice carton. Trains run the first four weekends in December.

If you are looking for something to do between Christmas and New Year, the popular Mince Pie Specials will be running on the 28th. 29th and 30th December. Extend the festive fun and enjoy heritage steam! All information can be found on the website wllr.org.uk

All festive trains depart from Llanfair Caereinion, postcode SY21 0SF.
