Boasting a spacious and contemporary interior in a delightful countryside setting, Lea Farm House makes the ideal base for a rural retreat for both friends and family alike.

A spacious gravel driveway greets you upon arrival, just past the gated entrance; unload your bags and make your way inside your new home-from-home to begin your staycation.

Stepping inside, discard your shoes and coats in the handy boot room before making your way through to the enticing drawing room to unwind in front of the warming woodburning stove following a lengthy journey.

When stomachs start to rumble, discover the open-plan kitchen/diner, beautifully-appointed with high-quality conveniences and contemporary fittings, effortlessly paired with an exposed stone inglenook fireplace and character beams, sure to be the heart of the home.

Uncork a chilled bottle of wine and gather together with your loved ones at the dining tables as the designated chef makes use of the fantastic facilities to rustle up a range of tasty treats, or take advantage of your peaceful, countryside location and dine alfresco.

At the end of an adventure-filled day, soak your tired feet with an indulgent dip in the hot tub, or escape the excitement and enjoy an intimate moment with a good book in hand in the snug.

When your eyes grow heavy, you’ll find a twin bedroom settled across the way from a contemporary shower room settled on the ground floor, providing the ideal sleeping quarters for those with limited mobility.

Climbing the stairs to the first floor, you’ll discover six additional bedrooms, consisting of a king-size with an en-suite, two twin rooms and three family rooms, each with the benefit of an en-suite, perfect for groups visiting with little ones.

The master bedroom can be found tucked away on the second floor, equipped with an elegant king-size sleigh bed, a dressing table and an en-suite, whilst two further twin rooms, a bathroom and a snug with a handy kitchenette lead off from the hallway.

In the morning, choose between a blissful soak amongst the bubbles in the family bathroom or a revitalizing rinse under the contemporary rainfall shower head before setting out for another day of adventure.

A short walk from your doorstep will bring you into the heart of the charming town of Cleobury Mortimer, where you’ll find a host of local amenities to assist with your self-catering needs; take a break from doing the cooking and treat your loved ones to a delicious meal with a selection of foreign cuisines, cafés and traditional pubs to choose from, or head to the local shop to stock up on fresh produce to prepare from the comfort of your holiday home.

Local attractions include Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club, a local brewery and the Shropshire Way, passing right by the gate of Lea Farm House, covering the Shropshire Hills and historic towns.

Escape to nature in the tranquil greenery of the Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve, where you can discover the quirky Whitty Pear trees in the arboretum, embark on a two-wheeled adventure along the challenging cycling trails, or lose yourself amongst the treetops at Go Ape Wyre Forest.

Jump in the car and journey to Ludlow, a historic market town with plenty of attractions, such as a restored Norman Castle hosting markets, fayres and concerts, a museum to soak up local history and Linney Riverside Park for a peaceful escape.

Bridgenorth is another picturesque town with traditional pubs resting on the River Severn; marvel at the spectacular remains of a fortress surrounded by lush landscapes, or hop on Bridgnorth Cliff Railway Top Station built in 1892, one of the steepest railways in the country.

From Bridgenorth, travel along the Severn Valley Railway, a heritage railway passing through the scenic Severn Valley all the way to Kidderminster, crossing the river on the beautiful Victoria Bridge.

Spend the day in Kidderminster, where you’ll find a handful of fascinating museums worth visiting, including Kidderminster Railway Museum and The Museum of Carpet.

For a fun-filled day out for the whole family, come face-to-face with the elephants and giraffes with a visit to West Midland Safari Park, home to over 165 species of exotic animals and plenty of attractions including a small theme park.
