Explore Cosy 2 bedroom cottage in rural Shropshire
Where you can find us
School House is an attractively finished 2 bedroom cottage which is part of a converted Victorian school building.
It is set in an idyllic village in rural Shropshire with access to the many activities and places of interest that Shropshire has to offer including the historic town of Shrewsbury (7 miles), the village & museums of Ironbridge (12 miles) as well as numerous scenic walks in the Shropshire Hills and The Wrekin.
The local pub, The bulls Head, is a 1 minute walk for dining and drinks.
The space
The house is a semi-detached cottage which has recently been refurbished and some of the lovely furnishings are in-keeping with the old school building. Downstairs has a comfortable lounge room for relaxing with Samsung Smart TV (with Freeview) and electric fire.
We have an bright and airy open plan kitchen (with island unit) which is fully equipped with appliances and amenities, and a dining area which is great for sharing with friends and family over meals and drinks.
The whole space is perfect for couples or larger groups to socialise.
There are 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and one which can be configured into 2 twin beds or a double (please request your bed configuration on booking to ensure we have the required linen set up for your stay).
A travel cot for infants is also available on request at ÂŁ10 per stay.
We also have a sofa bed in the sitting room which will accommodate another 2 guests – also please ensure that you book for the correct numbers so we can supply linen for the sofa bed (and for insurance purposes)
Upstairs is a spacious and modern main bathroom upstairs with separate shower cubicle and bath also with mixer shower tap.
A washroom with toilet is accessed from the kitchen downstairs.

There is parking available for one car but plenty of on street parking around the property, most conveniently opposite the house next to the wall.
