Hill Farm, self-catering accommodation

The farmhouse annexe is a lovely space located in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, close to Shrewsbury. This self-contained accommodation is part of our farmhouse with its own entrance, spacious double bedroom, kitchenette and dining area and shower room. It is perfect for guests who want to enjoy a comfortable and private base to explore the local area, visit family or enjoy the great outdoors. We are conveniently placed for many local attractions, on the doorstep of Corbet Wood and the Shropshire Way, and close to Shrewsbury and the North Wales border.

The surrounding area is great for walkers and bikers as we are on the doorstep of Corbet Wood, Grinshill Hill and the Shropshire Way. The property is surrounded by fields and the view from the bedroom reaches as far as Snowdonia. Guest seating and dining are provided in the garden beside a large pond which is a superb spot to enjoy the view.

There is plenty of parking immediately outside the property. A bus service operates from the village to Shrewsbury and Whitchurch, and there is a small train station (request stops) in the next village of Yorton, just a mile from the farmhouse. The nearest local pubs are two miles away. Ellesmere, Oswestry and Whitchurch can be reached by car in 15 minutes. A bus from Clive to Shrewsbury and Whitchurch is available

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
