This once uninhabitable barn has been renovated to a very high standard to provide modern comforts while also maintaining the historical charm. Ideally located near Severn Valley and the picturesque town of Bridgnorth this is a perfect place to spend time with friends and family, or a base to work from.
The space
Welcome to Redstone Barn, a retreat nestled in the heart of the Severn Valley. This lovingly restored barn offers breathtaking views, making it the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine in the evening. Just a stone’s throw away from the Mill Barn Wedding venue, it’s an ideal place to extend your stay and explore the beauty of the surrounding area. Whether you’re here for a special event, a peaceful getaway with family and friends, or even an idyllic base to work from, Redstone Barn provides the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. Dog-friendly and welcoming, your well-behaved furry friend will love exploring the many scenic walks nearby.
On entering the barn you walk into the light and airy Atrium/sun room, and you notice the attention to detail in this lovingly restored barn. There is a downstairs twin room, that can be made into a king bed on request, and a separate bathroom with shower. Step down into the beautiful open plan living, dining, and kitchen area, and straightaway you are drawn to the spectacular views of the countryside from the patio doors, which lead to the garden – a perfect setting for alfresco dining
Carry on up the stone staircase to the master bedroom where you will find the epitome of luxury, featuring a king-sized bed and a stunning roll-top bath, perfect for soaking after a long day. Enjoy complimentary toiletries, and freshly laundered towels, then sink into hotel-quality linen for a blissful night’s sleep.
Highlights:
Atrium: The entrance to the barn features a magnificent atrium, flooding the space with natural light and works to bring the countryside into the barn.
Living Area: Exposed wooden beams are visible, a nod to the history of the building. The living area is open plan with a country style dining table and sofas. A Smart TV ensures you can log in to your favourite streaming sites and catch up on your shows. There is a log burner by the sofa for those colder evenings.
Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, ideal for preparing delicious meals during your stay, including fridge-freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher and smaller appliances such as kettle, toaster and a microwave. There is also a washing machine for guests to use with a washing line available for drying the clothes.
Bedrooms:
Upstairs: One king-sized bedroom with a luxurious feature bath, WC with privacy panel
Downstairs: One king-sized bedroom with a zip-link bed that can be set up as two singles. Additionally, there is a single put-you-up type bed available on request and an extra charge of £15
There is plenty of storage in both bedrooms so you can make yourself feel at home.
Bathrooms: The en-suite bathroom upstairs is a feature room and therefore the bath is visible from the bedroom. There is a further bathroom downstairs with shower providing maximum privacy.
Fresh white bed linen and towels are provided (One Bath Sheet and One Hand Towel per person) all hotel quality and hotel-style toiletries are provided as well as a complimentary tea/coffee pack and Dishwashing/detergent packs, toilet roll, kitchen roll, etc.. which will last a couple of days. If you want to do some shopping there are local shops within a 10 minute drive
There is also a separate outside Utility area with washing machine, sink and storage
The Location
Redstone Barn offers peace and seclusion while being just a short walk from the stunning Severn Valley Country Park. Explore the beautiful walking trails, enjoy picnics, and immerse yourself in nature. The charming town of Bridgnorth is also within easy reach, offering a range of local shops, cafes, and historical sites.
