The space
Step into a space that exudes character and offers a perfect blend of old-world charm and contemporary luxury. From the Victorian pull bell and the stripped wooden floors on entering the hall to the plush sofa and log burner in the lounge it’s the perfect place to relax.
The location is ideal within walking distance of the many restaurants and High Street shops that Market Drayton has to offer along with historical buildings and canal walks to enjoy. A brewery and lovely pub serving Joules beer and good food. The location is quiet and peaceful yet within the buzz of the town, as its only 200 yards from the Church, the ringing of distant church bells can be heard
Ground Floor
Front Living room has a large sofa, ottoman seating and chairs, set around a lovely fireplace with Log burner (fire guard available) and a smart TV. The windows in this property are tinted so no need to draw the blinds in the daytime as no one can see in
Carry on through to the spacious dining room, a great entertaining space, which has a large table enough to seat 6 in front of the decorative fireplace and a reading corner with a high backed chair. A high chair is available, please request on booking. Also a great please to work with a great WIFI connection
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances, Oven, Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, kettle and toaster, all perfect for cooking a gourmet meal.
There is the added convenience of a downstairs WC with a washing machine and condensing dryer – please be careful as there is a step down from the kitchen
First Floor
Bedroom One is bright and spacious and has a King Size bed with a sofa that can be used for a child to sleep on and plenty of room for a travel Cot – please let us know when you book if you require either
Bedroom Two has a double bed and reading chair and the large window has a view of the walled garden and the neighbouring house which is one of the oldest in the Town
Both bedrooms have wardrobes and chest of drawers for plenty of storage. The beds will be made up with hotel quality bedding and fresh white linen and towels are provided ( a hand towel and bath towel per person) as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and some soaps
There is also a camp bed available on request
Other items included are a washing up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll which will last a couple of days. We also provide a complimentary welcome pack of single use coffee, tea bags, hot chocolate, biscuits etc for when you arrive but there is a Deli 500 yards away and Iceland in the town and Lidl, Aldi and Morrisons are less than a 5 minute drive
Bathroom
The bathroom is light and spacious with a stunning roll tap bath, perfect for sinking into after a long day as well as a separate shower, WC and wash hand basin. Feel free to use the large fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries to make you feel extra special
Outside
There is a lovely walled back garden with a table and chairs to enjoy breakfast or an evening meal or why not relax on the bench seat with a glass of wine and a book. There is also a bike storage area if you would like to bring your bikes to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside
Guest access
Guest have access to the whole property and can come and go as they please
There is on street parking outside the property, there is also a church car park and a secure car park a short distance from the property for £2 per day. We usually park outside number 24 but occasionally you have to park only a short distance away opposite the property
