Explore Fox and Hare Cottages
Where you can find us
Looking out over the beautiful Briedden Hills, Fox and Hare Cottages welcomes guests looking for accommodation for extended families to enjoy memorable holidays together. Based on a historic farm in the village of Shrawardine, the cottages are surrounded by meadows full of wildlife, where the only neighbours are cattle and horses.
We positively encourage guests to bring their pets to enjoy the scenic walks from the doorstep.
To ensure everybody in the group can enjoy time together, but also retreat into their own spaces, both Fox and Hare Cottages contain their own kitchens, garden rooms, living areas etc but are connected by a door on the ground floor.

The garden room in Hare Cottage is large enough for 16 guests to socialise and sit down to eat together and features a double sided wood burner, range cooker, wine fridge, smart tv and table football room.
The snug in Fox Cottage makes a perfect movie room for the children to settle in on rainy days, while the adults enjoy their own space.
Outside the cottages have the luxury of spacious lawns, wrap-around patios for sun bathing with raised bed planting and of the essential hot tub with contemporary handmade lounge seating.
The garden at Hare cottage includes a built in BBQ and additional seating area to catch the morning sun with a coffee. The gardens are securely fenced for dogs and small children.
