Mynd Court is in Church Stretton, a lovely “stroll size” town with independent shops, cafes, restaurants, a baker (as seen on The Great British Bake Off), a speciality delicatessen, several pubs and a Thursday market in the square. Three minutes walk in the opposite direction takes you to the notable nature centres of Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd, a gateway for walkers, cyclists, wild swimmers and gliders. Rectory Wood, as featured in BBC’s ‘Escape To The Country’ (S24 E37) is a short walk from the accommodation.
