Ludlow Food Festival

THE ORIGINAL FESTIVAL FOR FOOD AND DRINK LOVERS

Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September 2024

Ludlow Castle, Ludlow, Shropshire

Visitors to this year’s Ludlow Food Festival on 13th – 15th September can expect a bumper weekend celebrating the best of the Marches’ food and drink in the iconic walls of Ludlow Castle.

The richness of the region’s food heritage is epitomised in this three-day extravaganza that celebrates the best growers, producers, chefs, food writers and more. With a broad and exciting range of exhibitors to explore, visitors can stock up on their favourites as well as tasting new and delicious food. In a time when provenance is everything, take this opportunity to discover the stories behind the food as we champion British producers at their best.

There will be free and live cookery demonstrations from a range of top chefs, writers and producers across all three days of the Festival, along with hands-on workshops, trails and children’s activities throughout the weekend – keep an eye on our website as more details are released.

The hugely popular Fire Kitchen Stage returns to Ludlow Castle’s Inner Bailey. A whole host of local and international chefs will be firing up audiences with live demonstrations ready to wow festival-goers with a blend fire, food and fun on stage.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
